Father, the demands of work weigh on me and I feel stretched thin. Help me to do my work well, as unto You, without losing myself to worry or striving. Give me focus for what is mine to do today, and the grace to release what isn’t. Provide for my needs, guard my rest, and remind me that my worth is not measured by my output. Amen.
And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
