A Prayer for When You Feel Overwhelmed
When everything is too much at once, you don’t have to hold it all. May this prayer lighten the load, and this verse remind you that grace is enough.
A prayer
God, there is too much, and I feel like I am sinking under the weight of it all. Be my strength where I am weak. Help me to set down what is not mine to carry, to take the next small step, and to trust that Your grace is enough for me. Amen.
He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.
