Lord, thank You for the person You have joined to my life. Where we are weary or wounded, bring healing; where we have grown distant, draw us close again. Teach us patience, kindness, and the grace to forgive. Help us to listen well, to choose love daily, and to keep You at the center of our home. Bind us together in lasting love. Amen.
Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.
