Father, fear has taken hold of me and I feel small before what lies ahead. Remind me that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of love and a sound mind. Walk with me, and let Your presence be braver than my worry. Amen.
For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
